Educational Program

The HOPAD Educational Program is dedicated to providing a quality education to all the children residing in the HOPAD Children’s Home. The children are enrolled in Eris Academy, a local private school, where they receive the fundamental knowledge necessary to become independent, self-sustainable members of society. HOPAD believes that a strong education is of utmost importance and is the main concern of the HOPAD Children’s Programs.

During a normal school week consisting of six days, the children spend most of their time focusing on their studies. Two hours before school, the children review their coursework and prepare themselves for their classes. The children then attend school in uniform from 9:30am-3:30pm. After school, the children have a light tiffin and have an hour to play. In the evening, an additional three hours of reading time is included to ensure that the children complete all their assignments. HOPAD employs a certified teacher and houses numerous volunteers capable of tutoring the children.
